One of the few perks to ushering out summer and welcoming in the fall is the thrill of going to the Scituate Art Festival.
Celebrating its 49th year, this Columbus Day Weekend festival is an annual tradition for Rhode Islanders and everyone else who loves outdoor fall activities.
Arts, crafts, and foods abound, as do books of all genres written by a diverse collection of Rhode Island authors.
Stop by the Book Village located behind the library to find your next great read or the perfect gift for your favorite readers.
Hope to see you there October 10-12!
If you’re like us and you’ve never experienced the Big E, this is the year to go for it. To quote from the Eastern States Exposition website: “Begun with the dream of keeping business, industry and agriculture alive and thriving in New England, Eastern States Exposition has more than fulfilled the initial hopes of its creators. It remains a site for celebration, a central showplace for the creative, industrial and agricultural resources of the Northeast and a reflection of the best of the region’s people.”
We like to think we fall into that last category. Whether you’re a first-timer like us, or a veteran to The Big E, be sure to come see us at the Rhode Island building for all things Ocean State like clam cakes and chowder, Del’s Lemonade, and Brown/Corliss books.
